婚禮致辭 英語演講稿

　　Lots of you have been thinking:" does she speak English?"

　　你們很多人都在想:“她會說英語嗎?”。

　　I mean, well before I came to Ireland I thought I do.

　　在我來愛爾蘭之前，我以為我會說英語。

　　Then I heard your accent...

　　但在我聽到你們的口音之后，(我就開始懷疑我自己了...)

　　Or you think you do, I don't know.

　　其實是你們認(rèn)為自己會英語吧，這我就不清楚了。

　　On the other hand my parents over here.

　　不過，今天我的父母也在現(xiàn)場，他們坐在這一桌

　　They don't speak any English.

　　他們不會說英語。

　　So go talk to them later, it will be fun.

　　稍后你們可以去找他們聊聊天，會很有意思的。

　　In China we have a saying: you don't just marry some guy, you marry hiswhole family.

　　在中國有句話:你嫁給不只是一個男人，而是他的整個家庭。

　　I mean just look at the Mannions,

　　看看整個曼尼恩家族，

　　I'm fecked!

　　我去!

　　I'm joking! Everybody knows the Mannions.

　　我開玩笑啦!所有人都知道曼尼恩這個家族，

　　They are simply the most wonderful people in the world.

　　曼尼恩家族的成員是這個世界上最優(yōu)秀的人。

　　I'm so lucky to marry into this family.

　　我很幸運能成為這個家族的一份子。

　　But! Tonight if any of you catching me blinking at you,

　　但是今晚如果有人發(fā)現(xiàn)我對著你眨眼，

　　It's Chinese sign language for "help me".

　　這在中國的手語里意味著“幫幫我”。

　　Today is another new beginning of me and Kiaran.

　　今天是我和基蘭的又一個新的開始。

　　Kiaran Mannion what a wonderful man.

　　基蘭·曼尼恩是個超級棒的男人。

　　He is an Irishman with a Jewish nose.

　　他身為愛爾蘭人，卻長著猶太人的鼻子。

　　I just want to say this to all the unmarried girls here.

　　我只想對這里所有的未婚女孩說：

　　There is no words describing the feeling of walking down the aisle in yourbeautiful dress,

　　沒有任何語言能描述你穿著婚紗走在紅毯上的感覺，

　　with the ones you love watching you.

　　所有你愛著的人站在紅毯的盡頭深情地望著你。

　　It's just...... That's the exact moment you realize,

　　只是……在這個時刻你意識到，

　　It's too late to run.

　　現(xiàn)在逃跑已經(jīng)來不及了。

　　You see in China, this is the day your other half's family takes you inas a family member.

　　在中國，這一天是你另一半的家庭接納你成為新的家庭成員的日子。

　　But it's not the case with the Mannions today.

　　但對于曼尼恩家族來說并不是，

　　Because you know they have been taking me in as a family.

　　因為他們早就已經(jīng)把我當(dāng)成一家人了。

　　Like Tom said, as long as I know them.

　　就像湯姆說的，從我認(rèn)識他們起，我們就已經(jīng)是家人了。

　　So thank you Tom, thank you Marie,

　　在這里我要謝謝湯姆(爸爸)、謝謝瑪麗(媽媽)、

　　Thank you Sinead, Nelie, Maggie...everybody.

　　感謝辛妮(妹妹)、奈莉、瑪姬、感謝曼尼恩家族的所有人。

　　The two boys, two boys what are your names again?

　　還有我前面的這兩個男孩(新郎的弟弟)，不過你們倆的名字是?

　　I don't know their names, I mean who does, right?

　　我不知道他們的名字，在座的應(yīng)該都不知道，對吧?

　　(They are well known hurling players)

　　(他們是著名的愛爾蘭式曲棍球運動員)

　　All kidding aside, thank you so much everyone for being here as part ofour most important day.

　　不開玩笑啦，非常感謝大家今天來到這里分享我們最重要的一天。

　　My beloved family and friends who flew half a world to be here,

　　我親愛的家人和朋友跨越半個地球來到這里，

　　Allow me to say something in Chinese.

　　請允許我用中文對他們說：

　　非常感謝我的家人和我摯愛的朋友，不遠(yuǎn)萬里來到這里。

　　你們的到來讓我人生最重要的一天更加難忘，

　　Now let me translate that to you,

　　現(xiàn)在我來把剛剛的話翻譯給你們聽，

　　Run and get out of here while you can before all the Irish got drunk.

　　趁所有愛爾蘭人還沒喝醉，趕快想盡辦法逃離這里吧!
